A little about me ~
A southern girl, Mom to many, wife, former teacher, pretend writer, and muffin enthusiast. Relocated to the midwest, our roots are starting to take hold in spite of microbursts and straight line winds. Blessed a million times over and try to never forget it. Adore poetry, french country, and the musical stylings of the Foo Fighters. Amazed by the beauty of people and the world at large, the good that can be seen in everything and everyone. Spending my days looking for the funny and the justice and the quiet peace that sustains us all in big and small ways.
Not my first rodeo. Looking for a way to combine desire to cook and talk and write non-stop with small bake shop/catering business … putting all my cupcakes in one box, so to speak.
